Policy
Terms of Use
Terms governing website use, online ordering, communications, and related services.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use outline the terms for using the Vegan Pizza House website, online ordering platform, and official social media channels.
By accessing the website, using online ordering, interacting with official social media accounts, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using this website and do not place an order.
Please also review our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Returns Policy, each as updated or amended from time to time. You also acknowledge the essential cookie and storage practices described in our Privacy Policy, including that essential storage is required for core website functions, ordering, checkout, payment handoff, cart retention, order tracking, and delivery or pickup estimates (including 'deliver by' and 'ready by' timeframes, both of which are estimates).
For readability, "Vegan Pizza House" means Vegan Pizza House Inc. These Terms also use "we", "us", and "our" when referring to Vegan Pizza House.
You represent that you have reached the age of majority in British Columbia, or that you are accessing the website or placing an order under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights, remedies, warranties, cancellation rights, refund rights, or protections that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
2. Website, online ordering, pricing, and mobile communications
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes, delivery fees, service fees, and optional gratuities unless expressly stated otherwise. While we make every effort to keep our menu items, descriptions, prices, and availability accurate, all pickup and delivery timeframes are strictly estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery availability and arrival times are determined by your address and may fluctuate due to traffic, weather, kitchen volume, driver availability, or other operational factors.
Vegan Pizza House may refuse, limit, or cancel any order—or temporarily suspend accounts and website access—due to kitchen capacity, ingredient shortages, payment issues, safety concerns, suspected fraud, abuse, misuse, extreme weather, delivery limitations, inaccurate order information, or other operational reasons. If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed and no food has been supplied, any refund will be handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.
By providing your mobile phone number during ordering, you agree that transactional text messages may be sent about your active order, including order confirmations, preparation updates, pickup notices, delivery updates, or issue-resolution messages. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Our personal information practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Marketing text messages will only be sent where the consent required by law has been given. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages by replying “STOP”. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent necessary transactional messages about an active order.
3. Errors, omissions, availability, and service changes
Please note that our website may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time, without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted. Such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, and other order-related information.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed based on incorrect pricing, promotion, availability, or other incorrect order information. If a paid order is cancelled or refused for one of these reasons, any refund will be handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.
We reserve the right to modify the website, including terminating, changing, suspending, or discontinuing any aspect of the website, service, content, feature, or product offered through the website at any time, without notice. We may also impose additional requirements or limits on website use.
Vegan Pizza House will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the website, or for any service, content, feature, or product offered through the website.
4. Cancellations, refunds, and returns
Order modifications, cancellations, refund requests, returns, replacements, and store-credit requests are handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.
Because the food is freshly prepared and perishable, preparation begins shortly after an order is confirmed by the restaurant. Once preparation has begun, orders cannot usually be changed or cancelled, unless Vegan Pizza House agrees otherwise.
Cash refunds are not offered. Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
5. Allergens and cross-contact
Menu items are intended to be plant-based. Please be advised that the food is prepared in a professional kitchen environment that also handles wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, and non-vegetarian products.
While great care is taken to maintain separation through thorough cleaning, dedicated equipment, and protective barriers, Vegan Pizza House cannot guarantee that food is entirely free from allergens or cross-contact due to shared kitchen conditions and supplier practices.
Please notify staff of severe allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering. Reasonable care will be taken with disclosed allergy information.
6. Website content, social media, liability, and intellectual property
The website, online ordering platform, menu content, product descriptions, prices, images, logos, graphics, and social media content are provided for general informational and ordering purposes. They may be updated, corrected, changed, or removed without notice.
The platform and digital content are provided “as is” and “as available”.
Vegan Pizza House disclaims warranties, conditions, representations, or guarantees that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Vegan Pizza House is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or economic damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, service interruptions, delivery delays, or reliance on website content.
The total aggregate liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.
All website content, logos, menu materials, photographs, graphics, and branding are owned by or licensed to Vegan Pizza House and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
If you post content directly on official social media pages, tag Vegan Pizza House, mention Vegan Pizza House, or submit content to Vegan Pizza House, permission may be requested to feature that content. If you expressly approve the use, you grant Vegan Pizza House a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, display, or share that approved content for restaurant marketing and communications, subject to the applicable platform terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
7. Governing law and local jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of the website, online ordering platform, products, and services are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Subject to any consumer rights, tribunal jurisdiction, or mandatory forum requirements that cannot be excluded, disputes must be brought before the courts or tribunals of British Columbia with proper jurisdiction. Where a court venue is required, the parties agree to the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update or amend these Terms from time to time. When changes are posted, the updated Terms apply to your continued access to or use of the website, online ordering platform, and official social media channels.
Please review these Terms regularly. Your continued access to or use of the website after changes are posted means that you agree to the updated Terms.
